Driver configuration for Acad 2002-08

Configuring Driver
Start Acad Go to File, Plotter Manager, double click on Add-A-Plotter Wizard, choose My Computer, from Manufacturers list choose Hewlett-Packard, pick HP DesignJet 750C C3196A model , click next; you will see a warning message-click Continue and Next again. Ports screen appears – pick Plot to File option, click Next type in new plotter name or leave at default, click Edit Plotter Configuration: Device and Document Settings – Graphics – Vector Graphics – Color Depth – Monochrome-16777216 shades of grey; Go to Custom Paper Sizes (optional) - set your default Paper Size (eg.36x48) click Save as – save your plotter configuration to .pc3 file, click OK and Finish. Driver is configured and ready to use with Acad 2002.

Pen Assignments
Attached to this info there is a pen configuration file (Plot Style file) MidtownPlp.ctb. Copy this file to ACAD Plot Styles folder (File-PlotSyle Manager). The file will appear in Plot Style Table (pen assignments) drop down menu (Plot Dialog Box). You can use it as a template along with the installed driver to create your plot files. You have to set pens before creating plot file! To set pens - pick the supplied file from Plot Style Table (pen assignments) drop down menu, click Edit, set your lines thickness and screens; you can save your pen assignment to a different file or overwrite existing file and then reuse it as needed. Optionally use your existing ctb file, just remember to set color property (on the right) to black for all Pot Styles (on the left).
